In Rome A look alike pretending to be French actor Gerard Depardieu walked into a luxury hotel and walked out with a gift basket loaded with freebies including a purse, a bikini, a pair of sunglasses, a cashmere sweater and a designer bra.Depardieu was to be in Rome to promote his film "La Abbuffata." The imposter got away before the error was noticed.
First of all two people that look like Depardieu in the world? that's just wrong and why did he want a bikini and bra? that's not the best bit though.
A spokesman for the Carabinieri police said, " We're on the lookout for someone who looks like Gerard Depardieu but who is not Gerard Depardieu."
Well done, a sterling piece of police work there, I wonder if they gave a description for him, "A tall middle aged frenchman with a penis shaped nose wearing a bikini."
