To remind everyone that scientists aren't all that and Global warming may just be a lot of hot air they have found the remains of a Polar bear in the Arctic that dates back to 110,000 or 130,000 years.
Before that they thought the species had only evolved less than 100,000 years ago the oldest remains being 70,000 .
All this means that the polar bear has already survived one interglacial period which was a time a lot warmer than the current one happening right now .
The polar bear is basically a brown bear that decided some time ago that it would be easier to feed on seals on the ice. So long as there are seals, there are going to be polar bears drinking Coca Cola .
